There is more to achieving a six-pack then simply doing crunches. Learn how abs really work and how you can utilize your time in the gym and in the kitchen to truly maximize your workouts.

Written below is the great abdominal workout in written form:

  • Mason Twists — 30 seconds
  • In n Out Crunch — 15 reps
  • Up and Overs — 12 reps
  • Sit-up to V-up — 10 reps
  • No Hand In n Outs — 12 reps
  • Scissor Leg Lift — 24 reps (12 reps each side)
  • Heels to the Heaven — 12 reps
  • Knee to Elbow — 10 reps each side
  • The Fighter — 10 times through
  • Front Plank — As long as you can
  • Crunch and Hold — 12 reps
  • Divebomber Pushup — 10 reps
  • Take a 1-minute rest and repeat!

If you feel like you can do more than 2 times through this awesome core workout, then do so (if you can only do one time through or half a time through or whatever you can do, that is okay too). Challenge yourself and try to work your body to the limit. The harder you work and the greater the demand you put on yourself, the more your body will be forced to adapt and get stronger. Make sure not to push too far and overtrain yourself though. You have to really be overdoing it and being extreme to overtrain yourself, and feelings of lethargy and feeling drained will be felt when you workout, so you do not have much to worry about, but just keep that in mind the more you get into bodybuilding.
